Team Challenge - Crohn's & Colitis
By Danielle Rogers February 13, 2009 Washington, DC For the Washington Running Report
Crohn's & Colitis Foundation - Greater Washington D.C. Chapter
Team Challenge is gearing up for its second season in the D.C.
metro area with information meetings taking place throughout
the month of February at different locations around the city.
Come learn about this exciting fundraising program and how you
can make a difference in the lives of the 1.4 million Americans
who currently suffer from Crohn's disease and ulcerative
colitis. Team Challenge is a half marathon training program - for
runners and walkers of all skill levels - benefiting the
Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. We will be training
teams of participants for the Kona, Hawaii Half Marathon on
June 28, 2009 or the Napa to Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon
on July 19, 2009. All group training sessions occur locally in
the D.C. metro area. Whether you are a novice athlete or a seasoned veteran, this is
an amazing opportunity for you to make a difference in the
lives of so many. To RSVP for a meeting or to learn more about
Team Challenge, contact Dani Rogers or by call (703) 865-6130.
