ZOOMA Annapolis today announced a special discount for New Year Resolution runners looking to get inspired in 2009. Participants who sign up before January 15 with a special registration code will receive a discount off their registration fees for the half marathon and 10K races. The races, which will be held on May 31, 2009 in Annapolis, Maryland, include perks designed specifically for women, including mini spa treatments, a catered lunch, wine tastings and a special ZOOMA Annapolis finishers' necklace, although men are welcome to register.

Online registration is available through the ZOOMA Web site. Half marathon participants who enter ANNAHALFNY09 during online registration will receive $10 off their entry fee, and 10K participants who enter ANNAFIVENY09 will receive $5 off until January 15.

ZOOMA participants have access to free training programs and professional coaching from Gracie Updyke, exercise physiologist and president of gracies gear, Inc. Participants can sign up to receive weekly training programs and tips delivered right to their E-mail inboxes, which is a great motivator for those trying to reach new fitness goals in 2009.

All ZOOMA participants receive a New Balance technical race t- shirt, and finishers receive a unique necklace at the finish line. The chip-timed race starts at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and finishes waterfront at Jonas Green Park. Shuttles bring runners back to the Stadium, where they will enjoy an After Party Expo with live music, mini spa treatments, catered lunch, wine, shopping, and more.
