The Perfect Mile Book Signing
From the official press release
May 5, 2004
Washington, DC
For the Washington Running Report

Neal Bascomb, author of The Perfect Mile: Three Athletes, One Goal, and Less than Four Minutes to Achieve It, will be in Washington D.C. to discuss his new book about the quest to break the four-minute mile. May 6 marks the 50th anniversary of Roger Bannister's historic accomplishment, which Sports Illustrated called the twentieth century's greatest sporting achievement.

Wes Santee, the runner from Kansas who attempted to accomplish the feat and who is featured prominently in the book, will join Bascomb for the talk and book-signing.

Read a review of the book by Jeremy Borling, Chicago Athlete magazine, courtesy of the Running Network.
