Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival Passes 15,000 Runner Mark
Half-Marathon sells out again

Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) announced today that the 2008
Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival has passed the 15,000
runner mark for the first time in event history. Last year's
event drew a record 14,542 runners. In addition, the CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Half-Marathon
sold out for the sixth straight year. This year, 7,500 people
are registered with more than 350 runners signed up for the
waiting list. Registration is filling up fast in the other races, too. The
Under Armour Baltimore Marathon has less than 100 spots left,
while the Legg Mason Team Relay has room for only 25 more
teams. Organizers expect nearly 17,000 runners to grace the
streets of Charm City in 2008. The eighth annual Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival will
take place on Saturday, October 11th beginning at 8:00 a.m. The
day includes the aforementioned marathon, half-marathon and
four-person relay as well as the United Way 5K and Kids' Fun
Run. The event, now in its eighth year, has generated more than
75 million dollars in revenue for the city and more than 4
