Crohn's and Colitis Foundation is Recruiting for the ING Miami Half Marathon
By Danielle Rogers September 9, 2008 Washington, DC For the Washington Running Report
We are now recruiting for the ING Miami Half Marathon on
January 25, 2009 and we want you on our team!
Help us find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis,
two seldom discussed painful and unpredictable digestive
diseases. Team Challenge is a half marathon training program
that gets you ready for race day--sends you to exotic locales
all expenses paid--all while you help us raise funds for a
great cause. Currently 1.4 million Americans suffer from these
diseases and your funds not only go towards finding a cure, but
also helping those already affected, to have an improved
quality of life. The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is hosting an information
meeting on and registration for Team Challenge, its half
marathon training program. Participants are trained by coaches
to run or walk in the ING Miami Half Marathon January 25 and
raise funds for research to fight Crohn's disease and
ulcerative colitis.
