  1. Race winner Solomon Semunguse (20) of McLean, VA starts his move to shed his shadow, runner-up Michael Wardian (33) of Arlington, VA. Semunguse opened a thirteen second gap at the tape to win in 31:30.

  2. In perhaps the closest duel of the day, Lindsay Goulet (#32) of Arlington, VA wins a photo finish with fifth place Lisa Thomas (#27) of Alexandria, VA. Both elite athletes flew home in 37:12.

  3. Runners fly over the Inlet River Bridge.

  1. Lead reindeer Thomas Gouard (25) of Arlington, VA just does hold off Michael Mills (36) of Arlington, VA by a second in 39:50.

  2. The Fleet Feet team stayed ultra close during the race. Adrian Fenty (#10), the mayor, was mejor in 40:10, followed closely by his older brother Shawn (#12) in 40:15, with John Puskar (#16) also finishing in 40:15.

  3. The short Inlet River Bridge is the only hill on this fast course.

  2. Christopher Lombardi (30) of Washington, DC hurries home in 38:59 with a unique way of keeping his arms warm.
