On a humid Sunday morning, runners came out to the Sallie Mae 10K looking to run a local favorite. Below, volunteers and race crew distributed ChampionChips and race t-shirts.

2. The second guest of the day was Washington, DC's mayor, Anthony Williams. Below, Williams (far left) stands with some of his staff.
3. Rounding out the star supporters was Don Graham, Chairman and CEO of the Washington Post and President of the DC-CAP Board of Directors, giving a pep talk to the runners.
