Training Kick-Off Event Announced for ZOOMA Annapolis

ZOOMA Women's Race Series announces a training kick-off event for ZOOMA Annapolis to be held on Saturday, March 7 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Hosted by Fleet Feet Annapolis, located in downtown Annapolis at 318 6th Street, the kick-off celebrates the beginning of the 12-week training period for ZOOMA Annapolis. The event is open to all runners and walkers interested in learning more about the ZOOMA Women's Race Series, especially ZOOMA Annapolis.

Highlights of the event:

Receive training advice from Coach Gracie Updyke, creator of ZOOMA's 12-week training programs.

Learn about ZOOMA from founder Brae Blackley.

Hear the amazing story of Kristen Henehan, who surprised herself and everyone else by winning the first marathon she ever ran (2007 Marine Corps Marathon).

Receive giveaways from our sponsors, including LUNA, Women's Running magazine and more. Take advantage of special Fleet Feet discounts to stock up on training supplies.

Meet fellow ZOOMA runners and walkers and enjoy light breakfast.

Take an easy 30 minute jog with fellow runners to kick off your ZOOMA training in style.
