Registration for the 22nd annual Army Ten-Miler (ATM) has

year's 24,000 registration record beat last year's 20,000
registration record by 20 days! After registering 2,810 people
on opening day, ATM registration continued at 250 to 350
registrations per day.
Runners of the 2006 Army Ten-Miler hail from all 50 states and
13 countries including Sweden, Australia, Japan, and Mexico.
This year's team competitions are jam-packed with a total of 593
teams competing in 25 divisions. More than 150 military teams
will be competing for the Commander's Cup. A new division, the
USCAA 10-Mile Championship has 5 corporate teams competing in
its inaugural year.
"We are very excited to have another record year," said Jim
Vandak, Race Director. "Every year the race sells out faster. We
are honored that people are choosing to Run Army in 2006! Look
for many improvements to the race based upon runners comments
from last year too. We listen to our runners and we hope it will
show."
