Saturday, November 15, 2008 at the Agricultural History Farm Park

The running community is invited to participate in the Pacers/MCRRC 8K Cross Country Race on Saturday, November 15, 2008, at the Agricultural History Farm Park, 18410 Muncaster Road in Derwood, Maryland. This event is the precursor for the upcoming 2009 USATF Cross County National Championships to be held at the same site on February 7, 2009. Hosting the USATF Cross Country Championships is a first for MCRRC and this race will serve as a test run in preparation for it.

Runners will get to experience the new championship course and same distance that competitors will take on in February. The event schedule is listed below and open to all runners:

Master Women's 8K 8:00 AM
Master Men's 8K 9:00 AM
Open Women's 8K 10:00 AM
Open Men's 8K 11:00 AM

As always, spectators are welcome to check out the event area and cheer on the runners.
