Run for One Planet co-founders, actor Matt Hill and national
speaker Stephanie Tait, are coming to your community on their
11,000-mile run across North America; determined to inspire
environmental action. Run for One Planet will be running
through Elkton, Perryville, Havre de Grace, Aberdeen, Edgewood,
White Marsh, and Baltimore.
So far Matt and Stephanie have each run a marathon a day since
their start day in Vancouver, BC, Canada, on May 4th, 2008; now
covering more than 4,877 miles, raising $60,057, and inspiring
5,660 new actions for earth. By the time they finish their run
around the continent in 2009, Run for One Planet will have
completed 422 marathons, resulting in a much healthier planet
all round - a dream for all of us.
During the course of their run across Canada, Matt and
Stephanie have endured mudslides, RV breakdowns, freezing rain,
theft, and tendonitis, to help make a difference in communities
like yours. They have also received amazing support,
encouragement, and hospitality from strangers that has inspired
the pair to complete their goal. In a time where more and more
people are recognizing the environmental issues affecting us
all, these two Canadians are taking action and making a
difference.

Stephanie Tait is recognized internationally as a national

awards in honor of her outstanding achievements. Matt and
Stephanie now share a new passion together, 'Run for One
Planet'.
Run for One Planet's goals are for Matt and Stephanie to run
one marathon each per running day, to inspire one million
people to commit to one new environmentally friendly habit, and
raise one million dollars. All funds raised will act as seed
money for eco-system enhancement initiatives, at the grassroots
level, in communities like yours around North America. Tait and
Hill state, "It is our vision that the daily action of us
running for one year will inspire others to take action to help
the environment; one person, one action, one step at a time.
