

Anacostia Park
A riverside park in southeast Washington, DC with views of the marina and Washington Monument
Just twenty minutes from the Washington, DC Convention Center
and the heart of town, (see driving directions)
Anacostia Park is a ribbon of green along
both banks of the Anacostia River. The park features an
open-air roller skating rink, an Aquatic Resources Education
Center, an indoor swimming pool and fitness facility,
playgrounds, and lots of room for ballfields, running, biking,
picnicing, and fishing. Views of the Washington Monument,
Washington Navy Yard, and the U.S. Capitol Building tie this
