Washington, DC's largest 8K marks the official start of the
spring racing season! Join us at Freedom Plaza for a day of
family fun that includes the 8K, a 1K kids fun run, Irish
dancing and entertainment, ChronoTrack timing, refreshments, random
prizes, and more.

Welcome to the 4th annual Suntrust Banks National Marathon and
Half Marathon! Join us on Saturday, March 21, 2009 as we change
the course of history with our DC inclusive marathon route.
Highlighting both the iconic depth of the region and the
emergence of new and eclectic neighborhoods, the National
Marathon will again place top priority on individualizing each
runner's experience. Produced by the Greater Washington Sports
Alliance, the race raises funds for eleven local youth
investment organizations that use sports to build character,
encourage physical fitness and enhance education.

4-26-09 Ashburn Village 10K, 5K, & 1 Mile Fun Run (Ashburn, VA)
In 2008, nearly five hundred runners raced in the 10K, 5K, and
1 mile fun run. Karen Young (39) of Boyds, MD won the 10K for
women, while James Dunn (47) of Leesburg, VA was the first to
finish for the men. In the shorter race, Michael Vega (29) of
Ashburn, VA led all runners, while Joan Hunter (44) of
Purcellville, VA won for the women.This year the race will have a new course, which will be flat
and fast. Also, the advanced ChronoTrack timing system with the
dispoable D-tag will be used for fast, accurate results.
This year's proceeds will be donated in full to the Ashburn
Volunteer Fire Department.

that you will join us as we take strides towards enriching the

Please join us for what is one of Northern Virginia's best kept
secrets - the Cascades 10K Fire Chase. Started in 2003, the
race is in its seventh year, the race offers ChampionChip
timing, numerous amenities, and is hosted by the Cascades
Community Association for the benefit of the Sterling Volunteer
Fire Company. The funds raised through sponsorship and entry
fees help the Fire Company acquire much-needed equipment.

Celebrate Fairfax Fair. The race starts and ends on the Fair

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage invites you to join us for our 2nd
Annual Run for the Door 5K benefiting Loudoun Habitat for
Humanity. This year's event will take place on Sunday,
September 13, 2009 in Sterling, VA. There is fun for the whole
family with our certified 5K course, our 1K fun run, and post-
race festivities including prizes, food and drink, children's
activities and an award ceremony for our runners!The 1K Fun Run starts at 8:30 AM and the 5K begins at 9:00 AM.
Net proceeds will benefit Loudoun Habitat for Humanity. The

This year's event, the 22nd running, continues a tradition as
Montgomery County's finest community race, which attracts more
than 1,000 participants. The course is shady, pretty, and
scenic, going through gently rolling hills in Somerset, Chevy
