Course

Same Course as 2001

The 2001 race debuted a new, fast course for the Georgetown Classic 10K. USATF Certification No. DC01005JS.

Runners gave the course good reviews. Take a tour of the course in photos!

From the start on M Street near Georgetown Park mall (between Wisconsin Avenue and 33rd Street), runners proceed east on M Street, bearing right onto Pennsylvania Avenue and staying on Pennsylvania Avenue around Washington Circle.

Bear left onto I Street (Eye St), proceeding east to 14th Street. Turn right onto 14th Street.

At Constitution Avenue, turn left, and proceed east on Constitution to the turn-around near 6th Street.

Runners then reverse their route back to the finish line.

The water stations will be located on 14th Street, between miles 2 and 4. You will pass this location twice.
