1. From the start on M Street at Wisconsin Avenue, runners proceed east on M Street, bearing right onto Pennsylvania Avenue at Washington Circle. Shortly afterwards, runners bear left onto I Street and pass the 1 mile mark just past the intersection of 21st and I, NW (pictured)
