He planted himself right on the shoulder of third place Karl Dusen (#3146) of Montgomery Village, MD (33:34). Ashish Patel (#1540) of Montgomery Village, MD made a bold start, finishing in 36:24 with Nat Glacklin (#5604) of Washington, DC following his lead (36:54). Andrew Jesien (#1045) of North Bethesda, MD is right where he should be finishing sixth in 34:24.


3. Race winner Aileen Conlon (#3135) of Montgomery Village, MD in 37:32 is about to shake lose from third place Andrea Costella (#574) of New York, NY (39:33). Fourth place Alicia Pease (#3175) of Silver Spring, MD finished in 40:16.
   Kevin D'Amanda (in yellow jersey) of Bethesda, MD sails behind Erik Olson of Rockville, MD. He finished third master in 38:18; Olson fell back to 38:51. On the far right Roland Rust (#1705) of Bethesda, MD takes the straight line on the snakelike road to earn the second grandmaster spot in 41:01.
