The Cassidy & Pinkard Brain Tumor Society 5K Run & Walk drew
over 2,000 participants this year. This year's race was
held at Freedom Plaza in downtown Washington, DC. In the photos
below, runners and walkers gathered at the Plaza for pre-race
warmups, a visit to the Survivor Tent, or to help get their team
psyched up for a great race. Lines formed at the registration
tent as over 500 runners registered late for the race.

course.

Runners kept coming through the start, many of them wearing
shirts and bibs saying "In Memory Of" and "Survivor". Cadets
from West Point Military Academy lead the pack early on.
