2. Mark Courtney of Runner's High in Pennsylvania was 30th overall with his time of 2:49:43. Mark won the 2001 Northern Central Trail Marathon in 2:42:12.


3. Bea Marie Altieri of Clermont, FL (formerly Columbia, MD) was chosen as one of "Florida's Finest" to represent Florida runners in the marathon. She broke the tape amid a flurry of confetti in 2:53:10.
