2. Bruce Halpin of Ashburn, VA placed second in the 45-49 division of the 20K. Only his gray hair hinted at his age.

1. Gary Guenther of Arlington, VA finished the 10K in 49:03.


2. David Groff of Centreville, VA was the top teenager in eighth place overall at 1:16:10.


3. Lindsay Goulet (#13) and Genivieve Kiley (#3) along with Vanessa Hunter just out of the picture were told it was too hot to race, make it a hard workout. All three cruised through the 20K in 1:23:43 to take spots 3-5. Gary Grimsley (#708) of Springfield scooted by them taking 3rd in the 50-54 division.
