23rd Annual Leesburg 10K & 8th Annual 20K
- 08-14-11 Leesburg 10K & 20K (Leesburg, VA)
Come out and join us on Sunday, August 14, 2011 for the 23rd Annual Leesburg 10K and 8th Annual 20K presented by Capital One. Run through scenic, historic Leesburg – you may even come across a cow or two. See where your summer training has brought your 10K time. Or, test your fitness and stamina in the 20K – it is a great opportunity to race or simply use as a training run as you prepare for a fall marathon. Both races will start and finish at the same place and same starting time (7:30 AM). For 2010, we have secured permission to use Dry Mill Road and avoid the power line construction on a portion of the W&OD Trail – also giving everyone a bit more elbow room.
New race course for this year.
The race includes technical shirts to all participants with no upgrade fee, a great post-race brunch, (thanks to food sponsor Harris Teeter), music, generous awards, a FREE Kids Fun Run, and numerous random prizes.
A place to find your favorite races year-round.
