Pacers Hosts FREE Summer Fun Runs for High School Students

Pacers Running Store of Silver Spring will be hosting free summer fun runs for all local high school runners. The runs will take place every Wednesday at 10:00 AM and will be held from Wednesday, June 3 until the end of the summer. The runs are open to high school children of all ages and ability levels.
Each of the weekly runs will be on different courses of varying lengths throughout either Rock Creek Park, Sligo Creek Trail, or other areas surrounding Silver Spring. This is a great way to stay in shape over the summer and make sure your teammates are also getting their training in. Allen Carr will lead the runs and will speak about different topics related to high school running each week, such as race tips, pre-race meals and more. As usual, Pacers will be more than happy to offer high school runners 15% off of all shoes, apparel, and most accessories.
