- The lead pack is hard to separate. Five runners finished between 25:13 and 25:27. Will Christian (#451) and Ryan Deak (#273) were second and third by race's end.
- Alemgena Desta (25) of Silver Spring, MD has an excellent race, winning in 27:26.
- Joseph Wiley (#405) of Alexandria, VA, Masaki Ito (#408) of Seven Corners, VA, Anita Freres (#448) of Reston, VA, Dawn Sell (#319) of Fairfax, VA are part of a fast pack finishing right around a 6:00 pace.
