For the Washington Running Report

Update late afternoon, Friday, December 18: The free Run Technique/Speed Session with Coach Sam Burley has been rescheduled to Saturday, January 2 at 8:30 AM.

Due to the forecast of heavy snow on Saturday, December 19, the session has been rescheduled. Coach Sam Burley (former US World Champs team member at 800m) will offer the session on Saturday, January 2 at 8:30 AM in Arlington, VA at Washington-Lee High School.

Come check it out with no obligation--learn some drills and plyometrics, meet Sam, and perhaps decide to make a New Year's resolution and join us in January.  Interested?  Please RSVP w/your name and number to rsvp@potomacriverrunning.com.

=PR= Training Programs, a Potomac River Running partner, offers programs for every runner--from novice to elite athlete.

Sam will spend the first segment of the session teaching drills and exercises to improve running form and power. After the active warm-up and drill component, he will direct an interval workout (at various levels so it is appropriate for all attendees) during which he will provide direct feedback to runners on their form, assessing how they implement what they have learned.

The session is free but RSVPs are appreciated so Sam can design the most effective program based on the size of the group. Please send an e-mail to admin@potomacriverrunning.com indicating your interest in attending.
