Fleet Feet Sports, Gaithersburg Announces their Cross Country Day

The owners of Fleet Feet Sports, Gaithersburg announces that they will host a special event: Cross Country Day on August 20, 2010 from 8:00-10:00 AM at their store located at 255 Kentlands Boulevard in Gaithersburg.
Cross country season is right around the corner. Montgomery County is home to some of the most talented runners in the country. Fleet Feet Sports, Gaithersburg has had a long-standing relationship with teams, coaches, and parents throughout the county since it opened its doors in 2005. The store feels privileged to be part of the support network of these gifted athletes and will honor them with the 1st Annual Cross Country Day.
Coaches will be hosting their morning practice at the store. Runners can size up their competition before the season begins. After the run, participants will be treated to:
- A post-run breakfast to refuel and recover.
- A vendor expo with experts from Nike, Asics, Saucony, Mizuno, and Brooks. They will all be on hand to talk about the latest and greatest in training shoes and spikes and will have tons of free products to give away.
- A free "XC Run Dirty" t-shirt with the purchase of shoes or spikes, while supplies last.
- Deals and discounts on essentials, such as 20% off spikes.
