CENTURY 21 New Millennium and the McLean Community Center are proud to announce the 3rd Annual McLean 5K Run, Walk, Roll event, to be held on October 2, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. The focus of the McLean 5K is two fold; to raise funds and awareness for local charities, as well as to bring the wonderful community of McLean closer together. We are anticipating a crowd of 400 plus participants, have a challenging USATF certified course, have upgraded to the ChronoTrack race timing system, and even hope to have a visit again this year from the Children's National Medical Center mascot "Dr. Bear." Registration fee includes a tech t-shirt, post-race refreshments, and give-away bag with sponsor donations. Prizes awarded to the top male & female in each age group. Register now before fee increases on September 15, 2010.
All race proceeds will go directly to one of 4 local charities - Children's National Medical Center, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and the Wounded Warrior Project. CENTURY 21 New Millennium and the McLean Community Center are very excited to be co-hosts, bringing the McLean community together around such worthy causes. We welcome anyone who would like to participate by becoming a sponsor, making a donation, and especially by coming out to run, walk or roll.
