Directions
From the Beltway: Take the Dulles Toll Road west to the Fairfax County Parkway. Watch for this exit; it comes up fast, without much warning. It is the first exit after the Reston Parkway. Stay on Fairfax County Parkway to the end, and it will turn into Algonkian Parkway. After you are on Algonkian for a while, turn right onto Whitewater Drive. Turn left into the parking lot of Lowes Island Elementary School (20755 Whitewater Drive), just past Sandbank Square. To get to the community center, continue down Whitewater Drive and turn left onto Saulty Drive.
From White's Ferry and the Leesburg area: Take Route 7 East to the Algonkian Parkway exit 1582 North. Proceed on Algonkian Parkway for approximately 5 miles. Turn left onto Lowes Island Boulevard (across from a shopping center) and make the second right on Saulty Drive. Follow directions from DC/VA/MD.
Parking
Lowes Island Elementary School (20755 Whitewater Drive) is on the left on Whitewater Drive (off Algonkian) across from Bank Way. The school has just 80 parking spaces though and they will fill up fast! If you cannot park at the school, you may park at the Great Falls Plaza (Food Lion shopping center, 20789 Great Falls Plaza) on Algonkian Parkway at the intersection of Lowes Island Boulevard. You may also park at the Village Green Day School (47722 Saulty Drive) right past the Lowes Island Community Center or at the Potomac Baptist Church on Lowes Island Boulevard (on the left) as you turn off of Algonkian Parkway.
