St. Patrick's Day 8K Awards
Awards and Post-Race Festivities
Please join us at Freedom Plaza immediately following the race for food, entertainment, and the awards ceremony. An exhibition of Irish dancing will be presented by the O'Neill-James School of Irish Dancing. The awards ceremony will begin at approximately 10:45 am.
Awards Categories
Awards will be given to the top ten finishers overall (male and female) and the first three finishers in the following age groups:
The top ten male and female finishers will be awarded cash as follows: $500-$200-$160-$130-$110-$100-$90-$80-$70-$60.Age group divisions start at 19 and under and go all the way to 80 and over in five-year increments. The top three male and female finishers in each division will all receive a prize, with the first place finishers being awarded a $50 gift certificate from such establishments as Fleet Feet of Adams Morgan, Road Runner Sports, Georgetown Running Company, Potomac River Running, and restaurants.
All award winners will receive a green long-sleeve tech shirt with the race logo.

Random Prizes
Drawings for random prizes will be held during the awards ceremony. You must be present to win random prizes.
