The Star Kid 8K Race and Family Fun Run is back. After a year hiatus, the race has returned and will be bigger and better than ever. On April 22, 2012 hundreds of runners will join together to raise money for the Pediatric Heart Program at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children.

Registration for the Star Kid 8K is available at www.inova.org/8K. The entry fee is $20 for the 8K and $10 for the Fun Run. Runners may register as individuals or as a team. The Star Kid 8K course will take participants through the campus of George Mason University (4400 University Drive, Lot L) and surrounding areas of Fairfax, VA. There will also be a separate 2K Family Fun Run around Patriot Circle. Race festivities will include a moon bounce, face painting, and various activities for the whole family.
