PACE Sports Management represents the Arnold, MD native. The former University of Oregon star will wear the Oregon-based company’s swoosh logo and train as part of the Alberto Salazar-coached Nike Oregon Project with assistance from his current coach Andy Powell, who guided him throughout his college career.

"I am very excited to sign a professional contract with Nike and become part of the Nike family," Matthew Centrowitz said through a statement provided by PACE Sports Management of Teddington, England.  "They have many great athletes and I hope my achievements will make the brand proud in the years to come."

Other members of the Nike Oregon Project include Mo Farah of Great Britain, Dathan Ritzenhein, Galan Rupp, and Ciaran O’Lionard of Ireland.

Matthew Centrowitz, 22, will open his indoor season at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston on Saturday, February 4, where he will run the two-mile.  The following week he'll race the NYRR Wanamaker Mile at the Millrose Games in New York.

PACE Sports Management also represents World men's 5000M gold medalist Mo Farah, World double (women's 5000M, 10,000M) gold medalist Vivian Cheruiyot, and Usain Bolt--the world's most dominant sprinter.
