Pacers is a New Sponsor of the 2007 Army Ten-Miler

The Army Ten-Miler is pleased to announce that Pacers Running
Stores has signed on as a Supporting Sponsor for the 2007
event. Pacers is the leading running specialty retailer in the
Mid-Atlantic, providing personalized running and walking shoe
fittings which include gait analysis and fitness goal and
injury assessments. An active supporter of
running clubs, nonprofits, and events, Pacers manages several
races in the DC
area. The stores' owners, the Farley family, contribute a
portion of race

edition of the
Army's 10-mile race continues at a record pace. More than
17,500 runners have
registered for the 26,000 runner slots. "Last year we sold out
in 81 days
and 2007 registration is currently 30 days ahead of our 2006
sell-out date.
Anyone interested in running Army this year should register
soon because we
expect to sell out sometime in May," reported Vandak. All

Army Ten-Miler go to Moral, Welfare, and Recreation programs
for soldiers and

The 23rd edition of America's largest 10-mile running event
takes place on
Sunday, October 7 in Washington, DC. The Association of the US
Army (AUSA)
and KBR are the co-lead sponsors for this year's event. This
Army tradition
attracts over 26,000 runners, of varying experience, from
around the world to
run a course that starts and finishes at the Pentagon and
passes such
national landmarks as the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington
Monument and the
