Looking for an alternative to running on the roads or trails? How about a little race sharpening before Pike's Peek? Whether you're a beginning runner or a seasoned veteran, this event is for you! Come join us this Thursday evening for the 3rd annual MCRRC Firebirds Mile at Gaithersburg High School.

This track event is for adult and youth runners. Runners of all ages and paces are welcome! Last year our participants ranged from age 5 to age 85! We will feature multiple heats ranging from 10+ minutes per mile to sub-5. Additionally, we will have a quarter mile fun run starting at 6:45 pm for kids who are unable to complete a mile.

This race is FREE to MCRRC and Gaithersburg Firebirds club members, and just $5 for non-members. Registration is race day only and will be from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. The event will be held rain or shine. Bring the family for a fun evening at the track! Additional details are listed below
