With less than two months remaining before the Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival, registration numbers are up 24 percent. The Under Armour Baltimore Marathon, CareFirst Half- Marathon, and Legg Mason Team Relay are all at 70 percent capacity or greater as the event looks to sell out for the second straight year.

Currently, there are less than 500 spots left in the marathon and half-marathon, while the relay only has room for 100 more teams. Event organizers have been averaging 125 registrations a day for the last few weeks as the Running Festival gets closer to its goal of 17,000 runners.

The eighth annual Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival will take place on Saturday, October 11th beginning at 8:00 a.m. The day includes the aforementioned marathon, half-marathon, and four-person relay as well as the United Way 5K and Kids' Fun Run. The event, now in its eighth year, has generated more than 75 million dollars in revenue for the city and more than 4 million dollars for local charities.

Among the items included with one's registration fee is an Under Armour performance apparel shirt, a medal, and a finisher's certificate.

The Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival is managed and promoted by Corrigan Sports Enterprises, the leader in sports marketing and event management in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. region Corrigan Sports Enterprises is a leader in sports promotions in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. region.
