It is time to register for the First Wildcat 5K Run/Walk and 1/2 mile fun run which will take place at Saint Luke School in McLean, VA off Georgetown Pike on September 27, 2008 at 8:30 a.m.

This 5K course is a scenic route with some rolling hills through the neighborhoods off Georgetown Pike. The course is measured to USTAF certification standards by Montgomery County Road Runners who is also managing race logistics and time keeping. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers overall and random prizes will be distributed during the awards ceremony. This is a community event for the entire family!

The 1/2 mile fun run will begin in wave starts according to age group to allow for a smooth start for all children. Parents may run with their children. Each finisher will receive a prize. After the race, there will be a post race party with children activities, entertainment, refreshments, and awards ceremony.
