For the Washington Running Report

Runners are invited to join the Montgomery County Road Runners Club (MCRRC) on New Year's Day as we kick of our 25th Anniversary with a new race-"It's a New Year 5K." The race will start and finish at the King Farm Community Center in Rockville, Maryland, January 1, 2003, at 10 a.m. The course is fairly flat and run entirely on neighborhood roads. The event is part of our low-key club series with race-day only registration.

To get to King Farm Community Center, from I-270 take exit 8 (Shady Grove Road East), go right on Redland Blvd; turn right at the second light onto Gaither Road; turn left onto Saddle Ridge Lane to the Center (300 Saddle Ridge Circle). For further information check the club's web site: www.mcrrc.org.

If your New Year's resolution is to get out and run, why not join us as we celebrate the New Year and our 25th Anniversary.

"MCRRC - We are running, for 25 years, in Montgomery County with a race for every pace."
