The seminar will feature Jennifer Lager, Psy.D. a Licensed
Clinical Psychologist. We will explore negative thinking styles
and how negative thinking adversely affects sport performance.
Participants will learn to identify their own specific styles of
negative thinking. We will also discuss the negative thoughts of the group
participants and work on developing an understanding of why
these negative thoughts seem to occur when during training or
competition. Participants will leave the workshop with concrete
ideas for new, more positive, thoughts that can replace the old
negative thoughts and how to implement what they have learned in
their everyday workouts.
