Washington RunHers Unlimited, a club to promote women's running in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, is pleased to announce a revamped website, a new board, and a renewed focus on its running programs. The new board members are Carrie Safford (President), Susan Betts (Treasurer) and Patricia Cuff, Alicia Robinson-Morgan, and Elizabeth Ottaway (Members). RunHers recently celebrated 30 years of providing camaraderie, education, training programs, volunteer opportunities, and most importantly, fun to women runners across our area.

While RunHers will continue to offer key programs such as Summer Track and Winter Maintenance throughout the year, the club will also offer opportunities to join in weekly long runs and participate in local races as part of a team. RunHers is strengthening its relationships with local race organizers and is a running club partner of the National Marathon. The club will also focus on volunteer opportunities in 2007, as well as information seminars on a variety of topics.
