The USA Team for Worlds will consist of five members; the two remaining selectees include Dan Brown, winner of the 2002 USA Men's Marathon Championships at the Twin Cities Marathon last September in Minnesota, plus the athlete who ultimately has the fastest performance during the qualifying period.
