The 11th Annual Run for the Shelter (Loudoun County's longest road race) is on track for Sunday March 19th, 2006 at 8:30AM at Franklin Park in Purcellville, VA. This year's race is presented by America Online. In addition to being the title sponsor, many AOL employees have signed up to run and volunteer in the race. Also, there is still time to upgrade from the standard cotton race shirt to a performance shirt for only $10 extra. Performance shirts, including the women's cut, are available in small, medium, large and extra large through online registration only and must be ordered by February 23rd. Both the 1/2 Marathon and 5K will be certified courses that will be timed using the ChampionChipTM system.
