We reached our 7,000-runner limit for this year's Credit Union
Cherry Blossom 10 Mile on Tuesday, Dec. 31. On-line registration
is now closed, and all mail-in entries that were received after
the field was filled--except those allowed through our special
set-aside for last year's volunteers--will be returned along
with the checks. We will keep your address on file so you will
receive an entry form for the 2004 race next December. However,
let us know if you move before then as the applications are
mailed third-class bulk and are not forwarded. Please do not run the race unofficially or with another runner's
number. We calculate a certain "no-show" rate into our entry
projections so it is not acceptable to run in place of a runner
you may know who is not planning to take part. If we exceed our
7,000 runner limit, we may be denied our permit in future years
which jeopardizes the event for everyone.
VOLUNTEER: It is still possible to volunteer for the 2003
race and receive a guaranteed entry for 2004. Send a message to
volunteers@cherryblossom.org.
2004: If you wish to be placed on the notification list
for the 2004 Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile, please send an
e-mail message to
race_director@cherryblossom.org. Be sure to specify that
this is a 2004 request, and include your street address in the e-
mail. Individuals accepted for 2003--even if they are unable to
run in April--will be included on the 2004 mailing list.
CONFIRMATION: Go to the
race web site for a list of confirmed on-line entries.
Note that this list contains only on-line entries; we have not
yet uploaded mail-in entries to this list.
Note: Neither the 5K Fun/Run Walk nor the Kid's Run
require pre-registration.
