Both Online and Mail-in Registration Are Closed; The Race Is Full

Posted earlier on the Web site (1/6/06), a notice on supplemental online registration:

It has come to the attention of the race director and committee that the post office handled delivery of the hardcopy entry forms for the 2006 Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run at a glacial pace. Despite mailing these forms on December 6, Race Director Phil Stewart learned that some people did not receive them until after both the online and mail-in registration processes were closed on Friday, December 16--a full 10 days after the mailing!

In order to ensure as much fairness as possible (and still remain within the field limit), the event will take a small number of additional of online entries on the website, http://www.cherryblossom.org , starting on Monday, January 9th, with an opening time of 10:00 am.

They will also accept a small number of additional 5K Run/Walk entries from individuals who cannot complete 10 miles in under 2 hours and 20 minutes.
