ZOOMA Women's Race Series Launches Free Online Trainer for Participants

ZOOMA Women's Race Series launched the ZOOMA Trainer, a
complimentary online training site for all ZOOMA runners. The
ZOOMA Trainer offers twelve-week run and run/walk training
programs for the half marathon and 10K distances and also
offers participants one-on-one interactive coaching with a
certified personal trainer. For a face-to-face experience,
ZOOMA participants can utilize the Trainer's group training
network to connect with other runners training for ZOOMA races
in their area. Other offerings of the Trainer include a
training log, personalized training calendar, product reviews
and tips, and special discounts from ZOOMA partners.
Participants can register for the Trainer and find free
training programs through the ZOOMA Women's Race Series web
site.Coach Gracie Updyke, founder of gracie's gear and training,
designed the ZOOMA Women's Race Series training programs and
will serve as the Personal Coach for ZOOMA runners on the
Trainer. Coach Gracie, a certified Health and Fitness
Instructor with the American College of Sports Medicine,
graduated with a master's degree in exercise science from the
University of Louisiana at Monroe before relocating to North
Carolina, where she now manages Duke University's employee
wellness program. In addition to her training activities, Coach
Gracie founded a women's athletic apparel line called "gracie's

Annapolis will also increase its registration fees on February
2, so runners registering before that date with the promotion
code will receive a big discount off the post-February 2 price. ZOOMA Annapolis Half Marathon & 10K, a ZOOMA Women's Race
Series event on June 1, 2008 in Annapolis, MD, represents a new
concept in road races designed to inspire women to lead
healthier lives with more perks and bigger parties. ZOOMA races
create a unique "girls' weekend" atmosphere to encourage women
to train for and accomplish challenging fitness goals. ZOOMA
Annapolis Half Marathon & 10K, the first event of the national
series will include a half marathon, 10K, jog stroller 10K, and
kids' fun run. Runners will start at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial
Stadium and run through scenic Annapolis, entertained and
cheered on by their families, neighborhood groups, and local
spirit squads. The second event of the series will take place
in Atlanta, GA on November 16, 2008 and will tentatively

run.
