Floats Like A Butterfly
America's female road running beauty also dazzles on the track. Deena Drossin (photo above by Brian Myers)won the women's 10,000 Meter run in 31:29; Drossin set a new American record in 2002 for the event with a fabulous 30:51. She has been a dynamo for the American women's distance program.

Golden Speed
As an Olympic athlete, Jearl Miles-Clark (photo above by Sailer)won gold medals in the 4x400 m relay in 1996 and 2000. This year, she took the 800 Meter title with a time of 1:59 with Nicole Teter (coached by Gagliano) one second back for second place.

Alan Culpepper and Meb Keflezighi are a tough pair, observed third place finisher in the 10,000 Meter run Daniel Browne. Culpepper (photo below by Myers) grabbed the title with a time of 27:56 in a close race.

A Third Title for Marla Runyan
The American record holder (15:06, 2001) in the 5000 Meter run continued her winning streak with a 15:17 clocking this year. Runyan (photo above by Myers) placed 8th in the 2000 Olympic 1500 Meter run and continues to post impressive results. A courageous and talented athlete!

Jason Lunn (photo below by Sailer) struck again to add an outdoor 1500 Meter run title (3:44) to his indoor victory.

Alan Webb (second photo below by Sailer) of Reston, VA continues to plug away (10th, 3:48) as he seeks to build the confidence necessary to challenge senior competition.

The women's 3000 Meter Steeplechase title went to Briana Shook (bottom photo by Lisa Coniglio) with a personal best time of 9:45.
