Montgomery County Road Runners Club to Showcase New Book at Twlighter 8K Runfest
From the official press release
July 15, 2004
Rockville, MD
For the Washington Running Report

"We are running in Montgomery County!" You've seen and heard the tag line thousands of times used by the Montgomery County Road Runners Club (MCRRC). Now the club can add author and publisher to its list of credits.

The book entitled, "What Do You Think of When You Run," written by members of MCRRC, makes it's debut appearance at the Rockville Rotary Twilight Runfest, Saturday, July 17, 2004, 7 pm to 11 pm in the festival area.

The 348-page book contains many of its articles from the past 25 years of the Rundown, the bi-weekly club magazine. When participating in a road race, have you ever wondered what goes into putting on a good race? If you are new to the sport and looking for info or just would like to see the workings of a club and how the members shape it, this book will tell you that and more!

It's a realistic adventure about the pleasures of running. It melds together humor, insights and personal experiences from the largest Road Runner Club in the metropolitan area.

The cost of the book is $20. You can purchase a copy at the Twilighter 8K on Saturday, July 17 in the festival area. Copies of the book can also be ordered online or by calling (800) 431-1579.
