The 17th annual Leesburg 10K/20K race is Sunday, August 14,
2005, at 8:15 a.m in downtown Leesburg, VA. Last year, the
addition of the 20K race attracted 500 more runners This year,
the addition of Harris Teeter as title sponsor will provide
food and drinks for the post-race celebration, as well as a
sizeable cash contribution to the YMCA Loudoun County's
Building Bridges Annual Sustaining Fund. This fund enables the
YMCA to provide financial assistance to needy families who want
to participate in YMCA programs, such as summer day camp and
after school care. While the YMCA seeks to develop spirit, mind, and body in order
to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities,
Harris Teeter has a history of giving back to the communities
it serves in order to build strong, vibrant neighborhoods.
