Guts and Glory 5K

The Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) will host three "Guts & Glory" 5K run/walk events in 2006 Proceeds from the races benefit research, education and support programs for people coping with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, which are chronic digestive disorders of the small and large intestines collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Currently, IBD affects an estimated 1.4 million Americans.

CCFA, a voluntary, non-profit national organization, seeks to cure and prevent IBD through research, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases through education and support.
