The inaugural College Park Cares 10K Race, 3K Fun Walk, and 200 Meter Kids Run for children 12 and under will be held on July 4, 2005. The activities start at 8 am at the College Park City Hall on Knox Road. The course continues through the streets of College Park, down Paint Branch Parkway, and onto the Anacostia Trail around Lake Artemesia. The course is certified. Race to benefit needy local children.
