For the Washington Running Report

The Army Ten-Miler is pleased to announce that Fashion Time - The Time Store, a watch and clock specialty store with locations throughout Virginia and Maryland, has once again signed as a major sponsor for the 2007 event. Fashion Time will provide limited edition Bulova Army Ten-Miler commemorative watches as prizes for top individual and team winners. In addition, Expo attendees will have the opportunity to win their own commemorative watches as Fashion Time plans to award giveaways throughout the weekend.

"Fashion Time is proud to be back to support the 2007 Army Ten- Miler" said Ali Zargarpur, Director of Franchising. "We enjoyed being a part of last year's event and plan to be a long time supporter of the ATM and its mission to put on a world-class event and support soldier and soldier family programs."

2007 also marks the second year that Fashion Time will provide an engraved Bulova mantel clock for the best HOOAH Tent. The 10th Mountain Division of Ft. Drum took home the top prize in the 2006 competition. Ken Lopez, Chief of Community Relations at Ft. Drum, commented on the honor of receiving the clock, "The Bulova clock was won at an appropriate time as we had our Soldiers deployed. The families are waiting and watching the clock. The clock is meaningful and we have it displayed in a trophy case in The Commons, a high visibility area here at the installation where we hold a lot of Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) and family support activities."
