The Reston Runners' Annual Spring into Summer Women's Distance Festival will take place on Saturday, June 30th in Reston, VA. This women-only event is great fun and includes a tastefully decorated, scenic 5K run or walk on a course adorned with handsome, cheering men. The "swag" is great. All registrants get a T-shirt, socks, and other surprises. All finishers get a hat. Post race food is bountiful and a DJ complements the festive atmosphere. It is a great race for both beginning and experienced runners. Awards are presented to all age group winners and mother-daughter and grandmother-mother- granddaughter winning teams.
