Champion to Unveil New Women's Performance Collection at Disney's Minnie Marathon Weekend

NBA's Orlando Magic Dancers, local personalities show off new
product line in four fashion shows at event expo.
Glitz, glamour, and fashion will be part of the inaugural
Disney's Minnie Marathon Weekend presented by Lady Foot Locker
next month as the NBA's Orlando Magic Dancers and local
personalities model a new line of Champion women's athletic
apparel at a fashion show during the event's expo on May 5 and 6.Champion, a leader in the athletic apparel industry, will unveil
its new, innovative line of women's performance athleticwear, O
2Cool, during four fashion shows at the event's expo and members
of the Orlando Magic Dancers will be among those strutting down
the runaway wearing the new line. The fashion shows take place
at 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. May 5, and 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
May 6 at the event's expo inside the Milk House at Disney's Wide
World of Sports Complex. The expo is free and open to the
public. The O2 Cool collection includes sports bras, tees, shorts,
pants, and jackets all featuring innovative venting mesh panels
that help keep athletes cool, dry and comfortable. "It is a special treat for Champion to unveil our new O 2Cool
Collection during this inaugural Minnie Marathon Weekend," said
Susan Tregoning from Champion. "O 2Cool was designed by the
women at Champion for women, with the very best performance
features like venting mesh panels, Double Dry moisture
management fabric, odor-fighting technology and ultra

entertainment to Disney's Minnie Marathon Weekend for the fans

promoting women's wellness and a lifestyle that includes
physical activity, health, fitness, and a positive self-image."
In addition to the fashion shows, the event's expo will also
include a speaker series, cooking demonstrations and food and
wine tasting. Some of the highlighted speakers are Dawna Stone,
a recent winner of Martha Stewart's hit television show The
Apprentice: Martha Stewart and publisher of Her Sports
magazine, and Molly Barker, founder of Girls on the Run, a
program designed to encourage positive emotional, social,
mental, spiritual and physical development in girls. The expo begins Friday, May 5 and is open from Noon -7:00 p.m.
and from 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6. Disney's Minnie Marathon Weekend presented by Lady Foot Locker
also includes the Go Red for Women 5K and one mile fun run/walk
on Saturday May 6 and the Women Run the World 15K Sunday May 7.
All participants will receive a commemorative Champion race
shirt. The event marks the launch of Disney's Wide World of Sports
women's sports initiative aimed at expanding female-specific
sports events and elevating the sports experience for female
athletes and fans. Disney's Minnie Marathon Weekend is the latest addition to the
Endurance Sports Series at Walt Disney World Resort. The series
gives recreational athletes of all ages and abilities the chance
to walk, jog, run, skate, bike, and swim their way "around the
world." From running and skating marathons to road races and
triathlons, participating athletes from across the country and
around the world compete to stay in shape, to achieve personal-
best times and often to raise donations for charitable causes.
Popular Endurance Series events include the Walt Disney World
Marathon and Half Marathon (January), the Walt Disney World
Inline Marathon and Half Marathon (April), Muddy Buddy (May),
the Walt Disney World Triathlon (September) and Disney's Race
