The Army Ten-Miler Official Race T-Shirt Design Contest is Calling for Entries
From the official press release May 6, 2008 Washington, DC For the Washington Running Report
The Army Ten-Miler (ATM) has just announced the dates for its
annual Official Race T-Shirt Design contest. Submissions for
the contest will be taken from May 6 to June 6, 2008. The first
place winner will receive $1,000 and the winning design will be
printed on more than 26,000 runner and volunteer t-shirts. The
second and third place designs will win $500 and $250
respectively.The top five entries as selected by a Blue Ribbon Panel will be
posted on the Army Ten-Miler Web site. Registered runners only
will be eligible to vote for the top design from June 17 to 24.
Last year more than 6,840 runners voted for the winning
designs. Winners will be determined by the greatest number of
online votes. Winners will be announced on the
ATM Web site
on June 26. The Army Ten-Miler Official Race T-Shirt Design Contest is open
to all U.S. residents, age 18 or older. Designs must be
original artwork and reflect the spirit of the sport and the

About the Army Ten-Miler
The Army Ten-Miler (ATM) is America's largest 10-mile running
event. The Army's annual 10-mile race will take place on
Sunday, October 5, 2008 in Washington, DC. This unique road
race has both its start and finish lines at the Pentagon. Race
weekend activities include a two-day race expo, fitness
clinics, youth runs, 94.7 the Globe post race party, and HOOAH
